Fajita Chicken Roast
Ingredients
- Salt
1 tsp
- Red
chili powder 1 tsp
- Paprika
powder 2 tsp
- Garlic
powder 2 tsp
- Cumin
powder 2 tsp
- Dried
Oregano 1 tbsp
- Dried
basil 1/2 tbsp
- Black
pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Oil
2 tbsp
Other
- Whole
Chicken 1.4 kg
Preparation
- Clean,
wash and pat dry the whole chicken.
- Loosen
the skin from the meat using spoon or fingers.
- Mix
all the spices and oil in a small bowl.
- fill
the spices under the skin and apply remaining spices all over the chicken.
- Place
the chicken breast side down on to the air fryer basket.
- Bake
in the air fryer at 180°C for 40 minutes.
- Flip
the chicken and bake again at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
- Take
out and serve immediately with rice.
