Fajita Chicken Roast

Ingredients

  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Paprika powder 2 tsp
  • Garlic powder 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 2 tsp
  • Dried Oregano 1 tbsp
  • Dried basil 1/2 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Other

  • Whole Chicken 1.4 kg

Preparation

  • Clean, wash and pat dry the whole chicken.
  • Loosen the skin from the meat using spoon or fingers.
  • Mix all the spices and oil in a small bowl.
  • fill the spices under the skin and apply remaining spices all over the chicken.
  • Place the chicken breast side down on to the air fryer basket.
  • Bake in the air fryer at 180°C for 40 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken and bake again at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
  • Take out and serve immediately with rice.
